Who We Are
The Oread Center seeks to create opportunities for the historic Christian faith to be seriously considered through thoughtful examinations of faith, calling and culture for the flourishing of the University and its community.
What is the relationship between the Oread Center and the University of Kansas?
The Oread Center seeks to interact with all spheres of KU in a healthy and humble manner. We seek to promote, extend, and enlarge meaningful conversations about faith, knowledge, and culture and to resist the tendencies of dismissiveness and divisiveness.
Is the Oread Center affiliated with any larger institutions or groups?
Yes. First, the Oread Center is partnered with Grace EPC, since the staff are members of the Grace family, and since the oversight of all major decisions, both financial and operational, are performed by the leadership of Grace EPC. Second, the Oread Center is a full member of the Consortium of Christian Study Centers (CCSC), a network of like-minded institutions and organizations on campuses across the world.
